A pair of hikers were rescued Sunday after becoming lost off the Captain’s Trail in Volcano.
The pair called 911 about 11:34 a.m. and a Fire Rescue crew and county helicopter were dispatched.
The hikers were found about an hour later using cellphone GPS coordinates and extricated safely from the woods.
